“Eno” in Japan!
We’re psyched to announce the Japanese theatrical premiere of “Eno” and a new Japanese film poster. Plus more US and international screening events.
Greetings! I’m psyched to announce the Japanese theatrical premiere of “Eno” with special cinema screenings in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in June and July. In order to create multiple unique subtitled versions of the film, we’ve designed a special Japanese build of our generative software system, Brain One. This was a massive undertaking but I can’t wait to share new versions of “Eno” with our friends in Japan. There’s even a Japanese trailer.
The premiere event is June 21st in Tokyo, and I’ll be there to present the film. Musicologist Peter Barakan will join me in conversation afterwards. Two weeks of screenings will follow in July. Presented with our friends at Beatink and Tokyu Cinemas.
More info and tickets here. Arigatō!
Limited “Eno” Japanese Posters
Created especially for the Japanese release of the film, we’re offering this limited edition poster in the slightly smaller A2 size (16.5 in x 23.4 in). It’s based on the original design by Build, but with Japanese text.
The Japanese poster will be available at Oh You Pretty Things until our supply runs out. This will not be a regularly stocked item so order one now.
More New Screening Events
More screenings of unique versions of the film have been added: There’s a return screening in Chicago, the four-screen outdoor event in the Hudson Valley with live performances from Yuka Honda and Fred Frith, a Vienna screening, the Japanese cinema dates, and more.
